Happy New Year to you! I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and are ready to get back into the swing of things for 2010!

For me personally, I certainly am ready to get back to business. We had a very busy year last year with the arrival of our little boy who is now 9 months old-Jacob! Kids certainly do change your life but we are loving every minute of it!

Recruit NZ has got some exciting stuff going on this year for our candidates-both employed and unemployed.

First of all Recruit NZ’s beautiful new website went live in October last year! It is something that will be constantly changing with new jobs, workshops dates, employment advice, insider’s tips, and many more interesting and value added pages of information.

Employment Workshops

Some other very exciting news is that we are launching Recruit NZ’s “Securing Employment Workshops“ and “Effective CV Workshops”. These are underway from February 15th for 2010 and these have been very popular with the Community to date. Booking is essential and you will find more details on the website, otherwise please feel free to call me on 280 3977.

We have found ourselves booked at a variety of venues until mid year 2010! So if you are interested or do know of anyone that could do with some brushing up on their CV, interviewing techniques, or even general job hunting techniques, then send them through! It’s also a good chance to come along and meet like minded people and get some of those questions answered on how to set yourself apart from the other 150,000 people looking for work at the same time as you. I really do recommend them to anyone that is not 100% sure about their job hunting techniques and interviewing or perhaps anyone that has been out of the workforce for some time.
